It takes place from 11:00am to 3:00pm and is a chance for children to learn more about the Blessed Virgin in her month of May, while enjoying games and activities with kids from across the Archdiocese. Our parish has supported the orphanage and school for the deaf at Emerald Hill, Harare, Zimbabwe, for eleven years. The Dominican sisters who run Emerald Hill are entirely dependent on donations to provide their 100 children with accommodation, food, school fees, uniform and books.
If you already contribute to this worthy cause, many thanks indeed for your continuing kindness. Please, if you can, renew your support for 2024. I ask for £30 per year (£2.50 per month) but if you can increase your donation a little (say by 50p to £3.00 per month or £36 per year) that would be very welcome, as some regular contributors are sadly no longer with us.
If you haven’t previously supported Emerald Hill please think about becoming a contributor. All that we raise goes in full to Emerald Hill (usually via the Dominican mother-house in Bavaria) and gives a good life to children who have nothing.
