Getting Involved

The most obvious way to be involved in the life of the Parish is to attend Sunday Mass at St Michael’s each week. But there are a number of different ways you can be involved beyond that; a vibrant parish community depends on people being prepared to take part in a number of important tasks. Some examples are

  1. Lectors (readers) at Mass
  2. Extraordinary Ministers of Holy Communion ; helping with distribution of Holy Communion at Sunday Mass and taking the Eucharist to the sick and housebound
  3. Choir & Cantors
  4. Children’s Liturgy
  5. Hospitality
    • Greeters and Pass Keepers
    • Church cleaners
  6. Ladies Club
  7. Pro-life group
  8. The Society of Saint Vincent De Paul

If any of these appeals to you, speak to Fr Paul, who will direct you to the appropriate person.
