Getting Involved
The most obvious way to be involved in the life of the Parish is to attend Sunday Mass at St Michael’s each week. But there are a number of different ways you can be involved beyond that; a vibrant parish community depends on people being prepared to take part in a number of important tasks. Some examples are
- Lectors (readers) at Mass
- Extraordinary Ministers of Holy Communion ; helping with distribution of Holy Communion at Sunday Mass and taking the Eucharist to the sick and housebound
- Choir & Cantors
- Children’s Liturgy
- Hospitality
- Greeters and Pass Keepers
- Church cleaners
- Ladies Club
- Pro-life group
- The Society of Saint Vincent De Paul
If any of these appeals to you, speak to Fr Paul, who will direct you to the appropriate person.
