The Ladies Club celebrated its 30th Anniversary at Mass on Sunday 7th November when the music group and members participated in a joyful celebration. On Wednesday 10th November 58 ladies with Fr Paul Kelly celebrated with a dinner in Linlithgow Golf Club. A pleasant evening was spent with good food and reminiscing of days past. Chairman Hetty Redwood welcomed members and guests and gave a brief history of the club. Fr Paul said Grace, Margot Watson proposed the toast to the Club and Ita Watts gave a reply. After the meal members were entertained by our own singing group ably led by Kate O’Hara. Eileen McGregor, Vice Chairman gave a heartfelt Vote of Thanks.
The St Michaels R C Ladies Club held a Coffee Evening in St Peter's Church on Wednesday 24th November last and raised a magnificent sum of £342.20 that has been presented to Diabetes UK as a thank you to Margot Watson, a parishioner of St Peter's, who works tierlessly for Diabetes UK, our Immediate Past Chairman in thanks for her two years in the chair.
"The Ladies Club thank everybody who helped in any way at our stall at the recent Parish Coffee Morning. The proceeds of £94.80 were passed to the hall fund."
